Garden School - Fairy & Dino Gardens
It’s a garden adventure full of magic, whimsy, and imagination! Kids get to design their very own miniature container garden using a mix of edible and sensory plants that are perfect for little hands—and big imaginations.
We’ll be planting enchanting herbs like lavender and rosemary, silly and spiky favourites like chives, and other prehistoric or whimsical plants that look straight out of a fantasy forest or dino jungle.
Once planted, each child will decorate their garden with their choice of dinosaur figurines, fairy doors, and loads of charming miniatures to bring their story to life. Whether it’s a lush forest for a roaming triceratops or a cozy cottage garden for a fairy family, each creation is completely unique—and totally edible or kid-safe!

FAMILY WORKSHOPS – Budding Gems Garden School
Location: Budding Gems Workshop, 20 Freel Lane, Stouffville
Our Family Workshops are thoughtfully designed for children and caregivers to connect, create, and discover the magic that can happen in the garden.
Each session encourages hands-on exploration, while gently introducing little ones to the wonders of growing, planting, and connecting with nature. You’ll also have the chance to meet and mingle with other local families who value curiosity, creativity, and community.
Workshops are held at the Buddig Gems Workshop in Stouffville which conveniently offers parking & washrooms, and close to local playgrounds, making your visit easy and enjoyable.
